Let Us Stand With Jesus Against Violent Power is a micro-conference convened in the spirit of Friends to confront the crisis of mainstream Christianity. Jesus began a poor people’s movement rooted in compassion, nonviolence, and resistance to empire. Today, many Christian institutions are complicit in nationalism, militarism, and state violence. We ask how Christians can organize—faithfully, courageously, and collectively—in this moral crisis. Speakers include Rev. Dr. John J. Thatamanil, Professor of Theology and World Religions at Union Theological Seminary; Amanda Daloisio, editor at Catholic Worker; and Marah Sarji, Palestinian feminist liberation theologian with Christians for a Free Palestine.

The book “Truth of the Heart” is a great collections of the quotations of George Fox. It’s an intimate look at the founder of the Society of Friends, i.e. The Quakers, i.e. the most radical form of Christianity. Fox's words have a living home online, with a random quote generator, here at this site. Anytime you need some Fox, one can simply visit the Fox Machine. https://nonviolence.works/foxmachine
